Implementation
The work starts with the decision, not the deliverable.
Every engagement is bounded around a business question, the evidence needed to answer it, and the point where the work is complete enough to act.
The operating path
- Fit: define the decision, audience, constraint, owner, and deadline before selecting an offer.
- Evidence: gather the site, product, customer, market, sales, and operating material that can support the work.
- Diagnosis: identify the few gaps that materially weaken clarity, trust, pipeline, or execution.
- Build: create the agreed pages, messages, proof assets, workflows, or decision brief inside the stated scope.
- Verify: check links, claims, required elements, rendered output, and the action path before delivery.
- Handoff: document what changed, what remains open, who owns the next action, and what should be measured.
What the client provides
Access to the relevant people and source material, one accountable decision-maker, timely review, and permission boundaries for any customer or performance evidence.
What Carney owns
The diagnosis, operating recommendation, agreed deliverables, quality checks, clear status reporting, and a direct statement when the evidence does not support the desired claim.
Scope should make the next decision easier.
If the work cannot be defined, reviewed, and handed off cleanly, it is not ready to sell as a packaged engagement.
